Neocritic was started in 2008 by two friends in college who felt that the whole ‘long distance’ thing wasn’t working. They needed glue. They needed something that was there to talk about the things they loved. Which they decided in the end, was ’stuff’. Stuff like movies and games and . . . stuff. Resolved through that decision, they then thought it would be perfectly suitable to say that they were THE definitive word on the actual quality of said ’stuff’. After they stated their unaccredited qualifications, they waited, and nobody came forth to reclaim that title. So they kept it. And ever since that day, Neocritic has been THE definitive word on ’stuff’. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
